The End of Modelling
In this paper, Ali Morteza Samsam Bakhtiari summarizes the results of his WOCAP model for oil production comparing the data for other models and for the historical production trends.
According to Bakhtiari, global oil production has peaked in summer of 2006, as shown by both the WOCAP model and an assessment of the world production data. We are now entering uncharted territory where we have no guide from past trends in order to build models. It is what Bakhtiari calls "the end of modelling"
